Web Browsers - Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox etc

So what web browser do you use? There are many out there, all of them claiming to be slightly faster, more standards based, a better experience. In reality most people will stay with one browser as it is what they are used to. The latest versions are all good, do the job and come with various add-ons.

Mozilla Firefox

For the last few years my browser of choice has been Mozilla Firefox. I've found it to be fairly lightweight, the user interface is quite clean, and it has some great plugins and add-ons that I always install by default such as Adblock plus, Dcurrency, Cooliris, AVG Safe Search, AniWeather. The tabbed interface is easy to use and so far I have no complaints on using Firefox 3.x

I have just downloaded Firefox 4 beta 1, from my first 24 hours of use it is good. The user interface is cleaner and less intrusive, I wasn't sure if I would like it however I prefer it now which is a positive sign. Many of the Firefox add-ons don't yet work in Firefox 4 though although I expect this will change in the coming weeks.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

After languishing for many years Microsoft have realised the importance of the browser and invested heavily in updates over the last couple of years. Too late for me as I switched away from Internet Explorer many years ago except at work where it is the standard browser. I found the user interface on the latest versions not as intuitive and hence have to hunt around for some of the buttons. I've also found limited add-ons. Maybe they exist, but not to the extent of the Firefox add-ons (or at least I couldn't find them)

Google Chrome

I can't comment too much on Chrome, many people say it is great. I downloaded it when it came out and tried it and I wasn't so fond of the interface and there were limited add-ons. It is a browser I would recommend people to look at however I'm happy with my Firefox experience for now.

Others

There are other browsers out there such as Opera however these have a very small market share. Typically I'd go mainstream. I do however use Opera mini on my RIM BlackBerry 9700 as the standard browser is very poor. I've only installed Opera mini a few days ago however so far my experience is fairly positive.
